Hello, I would like to ask whether I can use antifreeze in a heating circuit that is made of steel and then continues into a system built from HEPWORTH components (pipe, adaptors, couplings).

Hello, I would like to ask whether I will be able to reduce HEPWORTH 15 mm pipe, or somehow join it to fittings with a diameter of 16 mm, i.e. half an inch, and if so, do you have those fittings on your website?

Hello, I have a few questions about HEPWORTH water pipework. Their English website states a 50-year warranty; do you guarantee this warranty as well? With PPR water pipes the pipes have to be wrapped in insulation; is that not necessary with this system? Can pipes with an aluminium oxygen barrier be used instead of the pipes from this section?

Hello, a 25-year warranty applies with us, every pipe needs to be insulated, and the system can be combined with any other pipework. Have a nice day.

Hello. I am considering the Hepworth system, as I need to install central heating in a house with a solid fuel boiler. I have a few questions. 1. If I use the Hepworth system in a single-storey house, do I have to use a manifold, or can it be done as with conventional pipework? What I mean is that I would run just two pipes to the radiators and connect the radiators from them via tees. Or do I have to run a pipe from the manifold to each radiator? 2. Can the pipe be surface-mounted on the wall as well, or only chased into the wall? I do not know how strong the joints are – if someone happens to lean on the pipe and it bends a little, whether something might work loose somewhere. 3. If I decided to order, can the order be delivered on an exact date? As I am not at home and will only be coming for 3 weeks, I would need it delivered on the day I arrive so that I can start work on the third day. 4. How much do you actually charge for delivery? I know you are sure to have it stated somewhere, but since I am asking anyway, perhaps you could tell me. I would probably order all the accessories together with radiators. If you have any other tips and information, could you please send them to me? Thank you for your reply...

Hello. Point 1: A manifold does not have to be used for the radiators. However, the pipes must be sized according to the number of radiators. The best option for you would be to fit a manifold in the wall with as many circuits as you have radiators. For the connecting pipes from the manifold to the radiators use dia. 15mm and connect the radiators from below – so-called VK (bottom-connection) radiators. For the supply to the manifolds dia. 20mm is usually enough. This method is the most convenient to install and also the most reliable in operation. Point 2: You can also run the pipes under the plaster, in the wall. It does not require any special measures. The joints are quite strong, yet they can still be rotated after installation. The most practical way is to build the pipes into the floor, if that is possible. Point 3: Yes, we will deliver it to you on an exact date. We do, however, need to agree it a day or two in advance. Point 4: We do charge for delivery, but it depends on how much there is and where we are delivering it. The amounts are not large, though. If you are interested, send us a floor plan and we will specify the radiators for you and prepare a complete list of materials. Kind regards, ATRIA

How can a HEPWORTH pipe or elbow be connected to a thermostatic radiator valve? Or to a radiator union?

Hello, at the moment I can only recommend the instructional video on our website. If the video does not help, please contact us with this question again on Friday, when a colleague who will certainly be able to help you will be here. https://www.atria.sk/kurenie-svojpomocne-hepworth/instruktazne-video-montaze/

Hello Mr Bielik, I do not know which HEPWORTH pipe you are interested in, so here are the individual types supplied in coils and those supplied in straight lengths. Pipe for underfloor heating (PN 3, 70 ?) is supplied in 100 or 200 m coils. Heating pipe with an oxygen barrier (PN 6, 90?) is supplied in 6 m lengths. Water pipe (PN 10, 80?) is supplied in 6 m lengths (HPX 6/15, HPX 6/22, HPX 6/28) or in 25 and 50 m coils (HPX 25/15, HPX 50/15, HPX 25/22, HPX 25/28)

Hello, could I ask you to price up HEPWORTH DIY heating for me, and then I will think it over. I worked it out roughly with the help of the video and a sketch, and first I would like to know the price of the heating from the boiler to the radiators, thank you. There are 7 of them, one of which is a towel radiator, so roughly like this: 22 mm pipe - 5 m, 15 mm pipe - 50 m, corner elbow 15x15 - 35 pcs, corner elbow 22x22 - 18 pcs, tee 15x15x15 - 4 pcs, straight adaptor 1/2x15 female - 10 pcs, straight adaptor 3/4x22 male and female - 2 pcs each, wall bends 7 pcs, two-way manifold - 1 pc, stainless steel pipe inserts for 15mm pipe - 100 pcs, 22mm inserts 20 pcs, expansion vessel 1 pc, heating filter 1 pc, ball valve from the boiler to the heating 4 pcs, ball valve for the manifold 2 pcs, radiator connection adaptor 14 pcs (7 pairs), angled radiator union 6 pcs, for the towel radiator 1 pc, compression fitting for connecting the pipe 14 pcs. I do not yet know whether a circulation pump is needed; if so, then also some unions before and after the pump for 22 mm pipe.

Hello, I think there has been a misunderstanding. We do not price up goods; the easiest way for you is to put all the items in the basket, enter the quantities, and it will show you the price. For example, add to the basket: https://www.atria.sk/potrubie-hepworth-kurenie-voda-22-mm/ and enter the quantity, https://www.atria.sk/potrubie-hepworth-kurenie-voda-15-mm/ and the quantity, https://www.atria.sk/koleno-rohove-15-x-15/ and a quantity of 35 pieces; once you have everything in the basket, proceed to the order and it will show you the total price. Of course you do not have to order the goods, even if you have them in the basket in the online shop. If you cannot find something, have a look at this https://www.atria.sk/clanky/suvisiaci-tovar-2/ , or write to us. Please also note that it is not possible to supply 5 metres; the minimum quantity is 25 metres – that applies to the 22mm pipe.

Hello, as I am renovating my central heating myself, I would like to ask about the HEPWORTH   system: what are the internal diameters of the individual polybutylene pipes for radiator heating, 15mm, 22mm and 28mm? What is the wall thickness of the polybutylene pipes? I would like to order from you; I just need to work out from the diameters how many metres to order. Kind regards

Hello, I cannot give you the internal diameter with certainty. The dimensions quoted are external; internal ones are not stated anywhere, as it is a full-bore system.

Hello, I would be interested in HEPWORTH heating and water pipework for a single-storey family house. How should I proceed? I would like to ask what is needed and whether you also do the design – I can send a floor plan of the house – and whether you then price it up and design it. Thank you

Hello, we do not design heating from a floor plan or in any other way. Designing a whole heating system from the office is very complicated and not always accurate when we do not know what your house actually looks like. You can only order the materials through the online shop; we always check that the order contains everything needed and confirm the delivery date back to you by phone.

In your HEPWORTH range you have a 20x3/4 " end wall plate elbow, but I would need a wall plate elbow in size 22 mm, because the pipe is 22 mm too. Is this perhaps a mistake – should it not be a 22x34" wall plate elbow?

Hello, the whole range of this system is currently being reworked. Under the new range it will be, and in fact already is, 22x3/4. But I know that these wall plate elbows will be in stock in about a week. https://www.atria.sk/kurenie-svojpomocne-hepworth/nastenky/

Your HEPWORTH range does not list a pass-through wall plate elbow in size 22. Please let me know whether you do not have it or whether it is simply not listed.

Hello, a pass-through wall plate elbow in size 22 is not in the range at all. Only the simple one.
