Room thermostats are an essential part of keeping every home at the optimum temperature. No thermostat, no warmth
The heating system also includes a room thermostat, whose job is to sense the temperature in the room. Depending on whether the required temperature has been reached, it either switches the heating system off temporarily or, when the temperature drops, sends an electrical signal to the central heating boiler. The boiler then fires up and heats the water until it reaches the preset temperature inside the boiler. Once that temperature is reached, the thermostat comes into play again, switching on the power supply and starting the electric motor of the circulation pump. As a result, hot water circulates through your heating system until the desired temperature is reached.

The front of the thermostat is dominated by a large LCD display. On its right-hand side there are four buttons: on/off with frost protection, time and programme setting, a confirm button and a button for exiting the selection. The back of the thermostat has holes for wall mounting. The Saswell 908 7 thermostat connects to boilers with an ordinary two-core cable and can switch any boiler. The Saswell 908 7 thermostat starts up automatically as soon as the batteries are inserted and prompts you to set the current time and day. Pressing the "P" button then takes you into programming mode. And although the thermostat has several preset schedules, you can adjust them to your own preferences. Simply select the day you want and set the time and temperature. If you are not happy with the settings you have made, holding down the "R" button for three seconds restores the default values. However, all the changes you have made to the schedules will be lost and the general factory settings will be applied.
