The Saswell SCU209LED wiring centre is a wired control unit for underfloor heating. It allows up to eight wired thermostats to be connected. It is used to control the underfloor heating loops by means of a room thermostat, which lets you set a different underfloor heating temperature in each room.
It is often the case that two or more underfloor heating loops are laid in a single room. If that applies to you too, the Saswell SCU209LED wiring centre will let you control several loops at once using just one thermostat. The connected thermostat is powered either directly from the wiring centre or by AA batteries.

This makes it possible to control the opening and closing of the valve on the manifold, and therefore the temperature of the pipework and of the room itself. Another equally important advantage of the Saswell wiring centre is that it can be connected to the boiler through the relevant output, and it has an additional output for a zone valve.
