The IVAR.2.0 18HPIN ELEC (code C3NS18IC3II) is a monoblock air conditioner: the compressor, both heat exchangers and the fans sit in a single metal casing only 165 mm deep. The unit hangs on the inside of an external wall and draws in and expels outdoor air through two holes in the wall, so no outdoor unit is needed on the façade. The IVAR.2.0 range is manufactured by the Italian company INNOVA.
The 18HPIN model additionally has an external axial fan fitted in the exhaust air opening, which increases the volume of treated air and therefore the unit's output.

Installation
- on any external wall, low near the floor or high below the ceiling (then with the lower cover panel)
- two Ø 202 mm holes at 293 mm centres, positioned using the supplied drilling template
- no condensate drain is needed for cooling; for heating mode a Ø 20 mm drain is connected
- indoor use only – IPX0 protection, not suitable for damp rooms such as laundry rooms

Package contents and accessories
The 18HPIN ELEC model comes as standard with two external grilles with fixed louvres (GB109II), which have an insect screen on the intake side and are fitted from the outside of the building. The box also includes the wall bracket, drilling template, film for forming the air duct in the hole, insulation material, and wall plugs with screws.
Cooling works at outdoor temperatures from -5 to 43 °C, and the heat pump heats down to -20 °C, the ELEC version down to -25 °C with the compressor off. Mounting, core drilling and electrical connection should be carried out by a qualified professional.

Frequently asked questions
Does this air conditioner need an outdoor unit?
No. All the technology is inside the indoor unit, which connects to the outside only through two 202 mm diameter holes in the external wall. From outside, only the flaps or grilles are visible.
Is a condensate drain required?
No condensate drain is needed for cooling. If the unit will also be used for heating, connect a drain to the Ø 20 mm outlet (Ø 16 mm hose).
Down to what outdoor temperature can it heat?
With the heat pump it heats down to -20 °C. Down to -25 °C it can run with the compressor switched off, with heat then supplied by the 1.8 kW or 0.9 kW electric heater.
Can the unit be mounted high up below the ceiling?
Yes, it can be installed low near the floor or high near the ceiling. When mounted high, it is fitted with the lower cover panel, which hides its underside.
