Boiler module IVAR.TV3-300 DN 40 with 3-way mixing valve, without circulation pump
Code: IVA49043610Product detailed description
The IVAR.TV3-300 DN 40 boiler module (code IVA49043610) prepares and distributes heating water, mixing it through a 3-way valve. It is designed for radiator, underfloor and wall heating in systems whose heat source supplies a strongly fluctuating flow temperature – typically with a solid-fuel boiler. It operates in closed hot-water heating and cooling systems.
Module equipment
- 3-way mixing valve, Kv 25
- space for a single or twin circulation pump (pump not included)
- flow and return pipes with DN 40 flanges for connection to the horizontal distribution manifold
- four wafer-type butterfly valves, check valve and pressure ports
- two fill/drain valves on the primary side
- two 0–120 °C thermometers and sensor pockets Ø 6 mm
- Trocellen C080 thermal insulation, 30 mm thick (λ 0.034 W/m·K)
Output and dimensions
The module handles up to 150 kW at ΔT 20 K and up to 38 kW at ΔT 5 K, at a flow rate of up to 6460 l/h. Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, temperature +100 °C. The Fe EN 10217-1 steel body is epoxy powder coated, the connection centre distance is 300 mm and the dimensions are 940 × 660 × 477 mm.
Actuator and installation
The actuator is ordered separately: IVAR.SERVOPOHON TV3 230 V with 3-point control (IVA20317350) or 24 V with 0–10 V control (IVA20317351). The module mounts directly on the IVAR.HC-DN 40 manifold or via IVAR.CONNECTA reduction sets, fixings are included. The valve is on the right from the factory; turning the valve and return pipe as described in the manual gives the left-hand version. Do not use mineral-oil lubricants on the EPDM seals. Installation of the module and fitting and wiring of the pump should be left to a qualified installer. Flush the system before start-up.

Frequently asked questions
When should I choose the mixing module IVAR.TV3-300 DN 40?
When the water temperature in the circuit needs to be controlled – for example with underfloor or wall heating, or with a heat source of fluctuating temperature such as a solid-fuel boiler. For direct distribution without mixing, the unmixed IVAR.S-300 module is used.
Is the valve actuator included?
No, the IVAR.SERVOPOHON TV3 actuator is ordered separately – as a 230 V version with 3-point control (IVA20317350) or a 24 V version with 0–10 V control (IVA20317351).
Is the circulation pump part of the module?
No, version IVA49043610 is supplied without a pump and is prepared for a single or twin circulation pump. The version with the DAB.EVOPLUS B 120/250.40 M pump has the code IVA49043610DAB.
Which manifold does the module connect to?
To the IVAR.HC-DN 40 horizontal distribution manifold, either directly or via IVAR.CONNECTA reduction sets. Fixings including gaskets are included.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
