Self-cleaning filter for sand removal with a brass head and ring, stainless steel insert, and manual self-cleaning drain. The filter is equipped with a bacteriostatic Nano Silver treatment. It is used wherever water free of very fine solid particles, especially sand, is required. Raw water enters the filter, is directed to the cleaning zone, and exits filtered. The drain valve allows sand to be expelled without disassembly.
