Compact wall unit for heating and cooling
The SILENCE IVAR.EGWW 13 fan coil connects to a two-pipe network and heats or cools the room depending on the water it receives. At medium fan speed it provides 3.50 kW of heat (range 3.20–4.10 kW) and 3.10 kW of cooling (2.80–3.70 kW), of which 2.40 kW cools and 0.70 kW dehumidifies the air. The fan moves 600 m³ of air per hour, and the sound pressure at 2.5 m is 40 dB(A) at medium speed.

Installation
The unit is mounted on the wall so that air circulates well in the room and the unit remains accessible for servicing. Water is connected with a 1/2" thread and the condensate drain with 5/8"; the maximum operating pressure is 16 bar and the water in the heat exchanger must not exceed 60 °C. The fan coil is supplied pre-wired with a 1.6 m power cable and terminals for a 230 V motorised valve, but the connection must be made by a qualified person. It can be complemented by the IVAR.OPTIONAL wall controller and the IVAR.INST installation box.

What output does the IVAR.EGWW 13 fan coil have?
At medium speed it heats with 3.50 kW (water 45 °C, room 20 °C) and cools with 3.10 kW (water 7 °C, room 27 °C), each at a water temperature difference of 5 K.
Does condensate need to be drained?
Yes, during cooling the air is dehumidified and the condensate collects in a 0.39 l tray. The drain is connected to the 5/8" spigot.
How is the fan coil controlled?
As standard via an infrared remote control for selecting mode, fan speed, temperature and timer. The IVAR.OPTIONAL wired wall controller (I07917620) is available as an accessory.
What must be observed for the electrical connection?
The unit is supplied at 230 V via a switch that disconnects both live conductors with a contact gap of at least 3 mm, and it must have a protective earth conductor. Only a qualified person may make the connection.
