Stainless steel manifold/collector set IVAR.CI 589 VPS with flow meters – 1" × EK, 5 outlets
Code: 503305VPSProduct detailed description
The IVAR.CI 589 VPS set made of AISI 304 stainless steel distributes heating water to the individual loops of a warm-water underfloor or wall heating system, or to radiators that each have their own supply line. This version with 5 outlets is supplied without a cabinet and comes fully fitted with control and shut-off valves.
Set contents
- stainless flow manifold with integrated flow meters – they regulate and shut off the flow, and the set value can be locked
- stainless return manifold with shut-off valves and manual caps, ready for electrothermal actuators (M 30 × 1.5 connection)
- 2 ball valves with unions
- 2 end pieces with manual air vent and rotating drain/fill valve
- mounting brackets
Technical data
The set connects with a 1" female thread (DN 25); the outlets have 3/4" EK eurocone connections at 50 mm centres. The flow–return centre distance is 200 mm, the depth 110 mm, and dimension A from the drawing is 312 mm for this version. The flow meters are adjustable from 0 to 2.5 l/min with a tolerance of ±10 %; a fully open outlet has a Kv of 1.0. Operation up to 10 bar and +90 °C, threads to ISO 228/1, EPDM seals, flow meters made of PPA/ABC plastic.
Accessories and commissioning
Pipes are connected to the outlets with unions matching the pipe material – IVAR.TA 4420 for ALPEX, TP 4410 for PEX or TR 4430 for copper, in a quantity according to the outlets. IVAR.TE 30xx or TE 40xx electrothermal actuators allow the flow through each loop to be controlled separately, which improves control comfort and helps to save energy. According to the data sheet, this size suits a P2 / N2 cabinet. Flush the system thoroughly before first start-up, especially when it combines underfloor and radiator heating; for water treatment the manufacturer recommends GEL.LONG LIFE 100 or MAYLINE SBA.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of heating is the IVAR.CI 589 VPS set intended for?
For warm-water underfloor and wall heating and for radiator distribution where each radiator has its own supply. Code 503305VPS is the version with 5 outlets and 3/4" EK connections.
Can electrothermal actuators be fitted to the set?
Yes, the return manifold valves with M 30 × 1.5 connection are ready for them – IVAR.TE 30xx or TE 40xx are suitable. The actuators are not included; the valves come with manual caps.
Are pipe unions included?
No, the unions are ordered according to the pipe material: IVAR.TA 4420 for ALPEX, TP 4410 for PEX or TR 4430 for copper pipes.
How is the flow through the individual loops set?
With the flow meter on the flow manifold, in a range of 0 to 2.5 l/min with a tolerance of ±10 %. The set value can be locked, and the flow meter can also shut the loop off completely.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
