IVAR.GBC 02 SET (code 550170S04) is a complete stainless steel flow and return manifold set for 4 circuits: 1" body, Eurocone (EK) outlets, mounting brackets, EQUIFLUID balancing unit and preparation for heat consumption metering. Dynamic balancing keeps a constant, preset differential pressure across the manifold regardless of what happens in the rest of the system.
How the EQUIFLUID unit works
The EQUIFLUID main valve on the return responds to pressure fluctuations through the combined action of a diaphragm and a spring; it is connected to the partner valve on the flow by a 1.5 m capillary. The partner valve is used to limit the maximum flow (static balancing) and to measure the differential pressure to which the main valve is then set, within 50–300 mbar. Circuit flow rates thus stay close to the design values, which is particularly valuable in systems with variable flow – with thermostatic valves, zone control or several heating modules.

Technical data and accessories
The set is designed for PN 10 and temperatures up to +90 °C; the EQUIFLUID valve itself withstands up to +120 °C and works with water or a water–glycol mixture with 30 % glycol. Materials: AISI 304 stainless steel, CW617N and CW602N brass, EPDM seals and diaphragm, PA6 + 30 % GF and PPE plastics. Available add-ons are the IVAR.WFM 50 (Megatron 5) electronic heat meter, the IVAR.WFZ 51 M-Bus module or the IVAR.WFZ 662 AMR radio module, insulation for the EQUIFLUID unit (code 506184) and a P-KLASIK 3 (flush-mounted) or N-KLASIK 3 (surface-mounted) cabinet.
The main valve must be on the return, accessible for setting and measuring, and installed in the direction of the arrow on the body. Before commissioning, the entire system must be thoroughly flushed.

Frequently asked questions
What is the heat metering preparation for?
The set contains a mounting spacer that is later replaced by the IVAR.WFM 50 (Megatron 5) electronic heat meter, plus an immersion pocket for the meter's temperature sensor. The meter is not included; the IVAR.WFZ 51 M-Bus module or the IVAR.WFZ 662 AMR radio module handles its communication.
How is the differential pressure set on the EQUIFLUID unit?
First the partner valve is set without the capillary and the differential pressure is measured between the pressure ports of the partner and main valves. The capillary is then fitted and the main valve's control head is set to the measured value within 50–300 mbar.
Which cabinet do I need for the 4-circuit set?
For this size the technical data sheet specifies a size 3 cabinet: flush-mounted P-KLASIK 3 or surface-mounted N-KLASIK 3. The cabinet is not part of the set and is ordered separately.
