PNI CT28WIFI is an internet gateway for the wireless floor heating system PNI CT28. It connects to your Wi-Fi network and translates commands from the app into radio communication used by the PNI CT28 PRO thermostats and the PNI CT28M control module.
In the Tuya Smart app, you first add the gateway and then connect the thermostat to it as a sub-device. You can see the set and measured temperature, change the heating status and mode (manual, energy-saving, scheduled), and also find advanced settings such as freeze protection, child lock, open window detection, temperature calibration, or hysteresis.
The wireless part of the system works without the gateway as well. Thermostats and the module communicate with each other on their own; the gateway simply adds internet access to them.
Connection
The hub is round, with a diameter of 65 mm and a thickness of 12 mm, and is powered by 5 V / 1 A. It operates on Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and radio frequency 868 MHz.
