PNI SmartHome WP850 is a smart socket that you install in the wall instead of a regular one. It looks like a standard white Schuko socket, but you can turn connected appliances on or off from your mobile device, wherever you are.
The socket connects to your home Wi-Fi network in the 2.4 GHz band. In the Smart Life app, you can set a timer, share the device with other household members, and connect it with voice assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Home, so you can control appliances by voice as well.
The socket can handle 16 A, i.e. a load of up to 3600 W, and is protected against overloading. The operating temperature range is from -15 to +80 °C. The device has dimensions of 86 × 86 mm and a depth of 40 mm, and weighs approximately 106 g.
Installation
The socket is mounted in an installation box and connected to the L, N and PE conductors. Connecting to the network must be performed by a qualified electrician.
