The IVAR WPS 3-16 PAD (code 3030161AD) is a single-phase 3" submersible pump with a 74 mm diameter for very narrow and deep boreholes, supplied as a set for automatic water supply. Besides the pump with starter box, it includes the ACTIVE DRIVER PLUS control unit and an 11 l balancing pressure vessel. The unit protects the pump and keeps the water system at constant pressure. The set is intended for supplying cottages and family homes as well as for agricultural and industrial use.
Performance of the 3-16 model
The motor with an output P2 of 0.55 kW (0.75 HP) draws 4.2 A at full load. The pump reaches a head of 64 m at zero flow, 40 m at the nominal flow of 3 m³/h and 28 m at 3.5 m³/h. The total length of the electric pump is 981 mm and it weighs 8.9 kg.

Installation conditions
The water may be at no more than 35 °C, with a pH of 6.5 to 8.5, solid particles of 2 mm at most and a sand content of up to 300 g/m³. The pump must be fully submerged, to a maximum depth of 80 m, and is installed vertically – with a maximum tilt of 30°; horizontal installation is prohibited. The 3G1 mm² supply cable is 30 m long. The pump must be earthed and protected by a residual current device; connection must be carried out by a qualified person.
