Privacy policy for the mobile application

These terms cover the ATRIA mobile application for iOS and Android. For purchases on the website, our e-shop privacy policy applies.

Who processes your data

The operator of the mobile application is ATRIA SK s.r.o., P. Mudroňa 5, 011 38 Žilina, Slovakia, Company ID 45473480, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Žilina.

Data protection contact: info@atria.sk, +421 917 133 662.

What data we process and why

E-mail address. You enter it when signing in. It is used for sign-in with a one-time code (the app uses no passwords), to link your orders and for notifications you switch on yourself. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in operating the account.

Billing and delivery address, phone number. You enter them when ordering. Without them we cannot deliver the goods or issue an invoice. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Orders. We keep them as accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Watched items and service reminders. Only if you switch them on. We store your e-mail address and the selected item so we can notify you about a restock or a price drop. Legal basis: consent – withdraw it by switching watching off in the app.

Device notification token. Only if you allow notifications. Used solely to deliver notices about order status, price drops and restocks. Legal basis: consent.

Complaints and questions. The text you write, and any photos you attach, reach us by e-mail. Legal basis: performance of a contract and handling your request.

Cart summary. If you are signed in or have notifications enabled, we store the number of items, the total and the name of the first item – not the full cart – so we can remind you once about an unfinished purchase. The reminder is sent at most once; when you order or empty the cart, the record is deleted. If you are not signed in and notifications are off, nothing is stored. Legal basis: legitimate interest in completing the purchase.

Service log. If you keep a service log in the app, we store what you enter into it yourself: the device name, place of installation, serial number and records of service visits. The log is tied to your account and no other user can see it. If you record details about your own customers in it, you enter them and you are responsible for them – only enter what you genuinely need. Legal basis: performance of the service contract. You delete a record by removing the device from the log or by deleting your account.

Shared list of materials. When you have a link to a list created for a customer, we store the items, quantities and prices from that list. We do not store who you sent the link to. The link is valid for 30 days, after which the list is no longer shown.

Notifications about new articles. If you turn them on – a separate setting, independent of order notifications – we use your device notification token to tell you about a new knowledge centre topic or blog article. Legal basis: consent; you can withdraw it at any time by turning this setting off.

Searching for goods by photo. If you start a photo search yourself, the picture is sent to our server and on to the recognition provider (Anthropic), which determines what kind of product it shows. We do not store the photo – it is discarded after recognition and never linked to your account. We only keep a counter of how many photos you used that day (the daily limit is 10), tied to your e-mail address if you are signed in, otherwise to a random device identifier. You always take the photo yourself; the app never captures anything in the background. Legal basis: legitimate interest in finding the goods you asked for.

What stays only on your phone

The following data never leaves your device and we have no access to it: saved delivery addresses, favourites, recently viewed products, material lists, saved knowledge centre articles, search history and app settings (language, currency, price display, dark mode). Uninstalling the app deletes them.

What we do not do

The app does not track your location, uses no advertising identifiers, does not profile you for advertising and we do not sell your data. The camera is used only when you start barcode scanning or attach a photo to a complaint; images are never sent anywhere on their own – the only exception is the photo search you start yourself, described above. The microphone is used only during voice search that you start by tapping.

Who we share data with

Only those without whom the app could not work:

  • Shoptet – the e-shop system where the order is created and processed
  • Resend – sending e-mails (sign-in codes, notifications)
  • Railway – running the application server
  • Anthropic – recognising goods from a photo you send yourself (servers in the USA, transfer based on standard contractual clauses)
  • Apple / Google – delivering push notifications if you enable them
  • carriers and payment gateways – to the extent needed to deliver and pay for the order

We do not pass data to anyone for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your app account and its data until you delete it. Orders are kept for the period required by law. Sign-in codes expire within 10 minutes.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account directly in the app: Menu → Account → Delete account. We delete your account, watched items, service reminders and notification tokens. Orders are not deleted – they are accounting records we must keep by law. To delete your customer account on atria.sk as well, write to info@atria.sk.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Consent (notifications, watched items) can be withdrawn at any time. Exercise these rights at info@atria.sk. You may lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority.
