GeniaAir Max HA 12-8.1 O is an outdoor unit of the air-to-water heat pump series Protherm GeniaAir Max, designed for heating and hot water preparation, or also for cooling. It operates with the natural refrigerant R290, which has an exceptionally low global warming potential (GWP 0.02), making it a solution focused on long-term sustainable operation. The HA 12-8.1 model belongs to the more powerful units of the GeniaAir Max series, for which the manufacturer declares a class A+++ at heating temperatures of 35 °C and 55 °C.
Thanks to the refrigerant R290, the GeniaAir Max series achieves an output water temperature of up to 75 °C during heating and up to 70 °C for hot water preparation, making it suitable not only for new buildings with floor heating, but also for older buildings with radiators, where a higher heating water temperature is required. In the night quiet mode, the unit achieves a noise level of only 28.5 dB(A), contributing to its discreet operation in residential buildings.
The manufacturer offers the GeniaAir Max a function called Flexible Space Function, which together with reduced protective zones around the outdoor unit (areas without windows, doors, basement shafts and outdoor electrical sockets) makes it easier to choose a suitable location for the installation of the outdoor unit at a family house.

Installation and compatibility
- This is an outdoor unit of the GeniaAir Max system, which together with other components forms a functional whole of an air-to-water heat pump.
- To control heating and hot water preparation, the control module HPIM 7 is required, which is not part of the delivery of the outdoor unit and must be ordered separately.
- For system setup, the MiPro Sense control is always required.
- The outdoor unit can be connected directly with heating water, or via an antifreeze mixture using a separating heat exchanger.
- We recommend that the installation be carried out by a certified professional installer with experience in air-to-water heat pumps and refrigerant R290.
- Connection kits, hydraulic modules or hot water storage tank are not part of the outdoor unit delivery – these components must be added according to the specific configuration.

Spoločnosť Protherm Production patrí do koncernu Vaillant Group a je výrobcom vykurovacej techniky pre mnohé krajiny Európy, Ázie i Afriky. Výroba
Spoločnosť Protherm Production vyrába široký sortiment kotlov a zariadení na ohrev teplej vody.
