PNI SmartHome SM440 is a plug that you insert into a standard 230 V socket and connect a light or a small appliance to. You can then turn it on or off remotely, without having to get up from bed or return home – for example, to turn on a lamp before entering the house, or to start the coffee maker in the morning.

Important: this socket works only within the PNI SmartHome SM400 system. It communicates with the control unit via a radio frequency of 433 MHz (range up to 100 m) and is controlled via the PNI Smart Home app for Android and iOS. It does not function independently via a home router, like Wi-Fi sockets do.

The maximum supported load is 3000 W for resistive appliances and 230 W for inductive ones, minimum 7 W. In the timer mode, you can set after how long the connected appliance will be turned off. The timer can be controlled using the SET button on the socket or from the app.
