UNIBO submersible pump is an efficient drainage pump for clean and slightly contaminated water, designed for operation in tanks and wells, with float control and a slim stainless steel body.

The pump is intended for pumping clean or slightly contaminated water without sand or other highly abrasive impurities that could accelerate the wear of hydraulic components.

It is not suitable for pumping sewage, salt water, chemically aggressive liquids, flammable and explosive substances, or liquids containing long-fiber impurities.

From the perspective of electrical safety, the pump should be powered by an installation equipped with a residual current device with a tripping current up to 30 mA and an effective earthing system, and the pump plug must be connected to an outlet with an active earth connection.

The UNIBO pump is designed for continuous operation.

Applications of the UNIBO 250 Pump

• Pumping rainwater from tanks, reservoirs, wells and pits, while observing the maximum submersion depth of 5 m and the allowed water temperature up to 50 °C.
• Removing water from flooded rooms such as basements, garages, technical rooms or small excavations, provided that the water does not contain long-fiber or highly abrasive impurities.
• Supplying water to plumbing installations in family homes and small commercial facilities, e.g. for garden irrigation with rainwater from an underground tank, with vertical installation of the pump.
• Works in rainwater harvesting systems, where the submersible pump serves as a central pressure unit and works together with automatic control and protection against dry running.
• Supporting applications in agriculture and light industry, where fast pumping of clean or slightly contaminated water is required without chemically aggressive or flammable media.
