Reducing tee 90° press fitting IVAR.IVN441 76.1-35-76.1 mm, stainless steel AISI 304
Code: IVN441.763576Product detailed description
The IVAR.IVN441 76.1-35-76.1 mm 90° tee is a reducing press fitting made of AISI 304 stainless steel (material no. 1.4301). The run sockets are 76.1 mm and the perpendicular branch 35 mm – so a smaller branch line can be connected to the main pipe without an additional reducer. All three ends are press connections (press × press × press) sealed with EPDM O-rings. The overall length of the fitting is 232 mm.
Applications
- closed heating and cooling systems, solar circuits
- compressed air networks, vacuum systems, inert and technical gases
- technical and process fluids in industry
- drainage of waste water and rainwater
The fitting is not suitable for drinking water – this is also indicated by a symbol marked directly on the fitting together with the AISI 304 logo, the size and the traceability code.
Operating values
- maximum operating pressure PN 16, vacuum down to -0.8 bar (absolute pressure 0.2 bar)
- temperature from -20 °C, up to +85 °C in normal operation, maximum +120 °C
- antifreeze mixture with a concentration of no more than 50 %
Pressing and joint inspection
The 35 mm branch has the patented LBP (Leak Before Press) O-ring with an angled profile – an unpressed joint lets liquid through during the pressure test – and an orange band as a press indicator. The manufacturer specifies these features only for sizes 15 to 54 mm, so the 76.1 mm run sockets do not have them and their pressing must be checked with particular care.
Pressing is done with M-profile press jaws. Note: installation must be carried out by a qualified person in accordance with the installation and operating instructions issued by the system manufacturer. Before commissioning the heating system, the manufacturer strongly recommends flushing the entire system; for water treatment it recommends the product GEL.LONG LIFE 100.
The IVAR.IVN441 range also includes other size combinations, from 18-15-18 mm up to 108-88.9-108 mm.

Frequently asked questions
Can the IVAR.IVN441 76.1-35-76.1 mm tee also be used for drinking water?
No, the AISI 304 stainless steel fittings in this range are not suitable for drinking water and carry a symbol indicating this. They are used, for example, in closed heating and cooling circuits, solar systems or for compressed air.
Which pipes are connected to this tee?
A 76.1 mm pipe is pressed into each of the two run sockets and a 35 mm pipe into the perpendicular branch. All three ends are press connections (press × press × press).
Which tool is used to press the tee?
A pressing tool with M-profile press jaws. The joints should be made by a professional in accordance with the system manufacturer's installation and operating instructions.
How can I tell that a joint has been left unpressed?
The 35 mm branch has an LBP O-ring that reveals an unpressed joint by leaking during the pressure test, plus an orange indicator band. The 76.1 mm run sockets do not have these features, so check their pressing with particular care.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
