Vaillant flexoCOMPACT exclusive VWF 58/4 is a compact version of the premium flexoTHERM/COMPACT exclusive fourth generation range, which combines a ground/water heat pump and a hot water tank with a volume of 185 liters in a single cabinet. Thanks to a footprint of only approx. 0.35 m², it is an ideal choice for new builds and renovations, where space in the technical room is limited. It is designed for smaller and medium-sized family homes (performance class approx. 5 kW at B0/W35). The offered set also includes the passive cooling module VWZ NC 11, the touch controller sensoCOMFORT 720 and the internet gateway VR 940f, making it a complete solution for heating, hot water preparation, summer cooling and remote control via a mobile app.

Passive cooling module VWZ NC 11
Just like with the flexoTHERM exclusive models, the compact version can also use the passive cooling module VWZ NC 11 (for the 5 - 11 kW performance range). In summer months, cold brine from a ground borehole or collector is fed into the heating circuit via a plate heat exchanger, achieving pleasant interior cooling without the compressor running and with minimal electricity consumption (only circulation pumps). It works best with floor or wall heating and is fully integrated into the sensoCOMFORT control system, which monitors the dew point and automatically switches between heating, hot water preparation and cooling.
Controller sensoCOMFORT VRC 720 and internet gateway VR 940f
The touch controller sensoCOMFORT 720 controls the heating circuit, hot water preparation from the integrated tank and the passive cooling function from one place, with an equithermal control and weekly programs. The internet gateway VR 940f connects the system to the home WiFi network and allows full control and monitoring via the myVAILLANT app from a phone anywhere, including consumption history and alerts in case of faults.
Installation and notes
flexoCOMPACT exclusive VWF 58/4 is installed exclusively indoors — thanks to the integrated hot water tank, there is no need for a separate tank, saving space and installation costs. Only the piping from the ground collector or borehole leads outside. The connection requires a qualified heating technician and an inspection of the electrical installation. Due to the weight (the unit is filled with water in the tank during operation), it is necessary to ensure a sufficiently solid and level floor at the installation site. Transportation is handled as oversized/heavy goods by pallet transport, with advance payment by bank transfer.

Can the cooling module be added later if not used at the time of purchase? Yes, the VWZ NC 11 module can be added later, but it is already included in this set.
