SilverCloud SafePC 650AVR is a backup power supply for the computer, monitor, router, and other small electronics. In the event of a power outage, it switches to its own battery within 2 to 6 ms, so the devices continue to operate and you have time to safely shut down your work. The power is 600 VA (360 W), and the 12 V / 7 Ah battery is built into the device.
The power supply has a built-in AVR stabilizer: when the voltage in the socket fluctuates, it adjusts it to 195–245 V and the battery does not discharge unnecessarily. It also protects against overload, short circuit, overheating, overcharging, and deep battery discharge.
The LCD display and audio signals will alert you to low battery capacity, switching to battery power, and overload. Using the USB cable from the package and the included software, you can monitor the UPS from your computer. Two Schuko sockets are used for connecting devices and two RJ connectors for protecting the fixed telephone line.
Usage and Limitations
The output is a modified sine wave, so the power supply is suitable for office and small electronics. Do not use it with pumps, motors, laser printers, or other inductive loads. When assembling a PC with a 15" monitor, the manufacturer states a runtime of 10 to 20 minutes, and charging takes approximately 12 hours.
