Installation and project notes

The stationary module is installed in a technical room independently of the outdoor unit (it is connected only by piping with heating water, not refrigerant, as it is a monoblock system). It requires a flat load-bearing base, a supply of cold water, electricity, and heating/WHC circuits. Connection and setup are performed by a certified Vaillant technician.

Due to its weight and value, the product is classified as an atypical shipment – delivery is carried out by the GLS courier (not via PostNord/Balíčkovna) and payment is possible only by advance bank transfer, not by cash on delivery or online card payment. We recommend to agree on the exact delivery and installation date in advance with a certified Vaillant installation partner.

Compatible accessories

Compatible: monoblock outdoor units aroTHERM plus/8.1 and aroTHERM pro/7.1 of corresponding capacity, regulator sensoCOMFORT 720, WiFi module myVAILLANT, safety valve and expansion vessel (integrated), heating water connection kit to the outdoor unit.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the QW module and the IS module for split units?
The QW module is intended for monoblock outdoor units (the refrigerant does not leave the outdoor housing), so only a piping with heating water runs between the QW module and the outdoor unit, not refrigerant piping as in the IS module for split systems.

How large is the integrated TÚV tank?
The tank has a volume of 190 liters with a large-surface heat exchanger (approx. 1.9 m²) for rapid heating of hot water even at lower output temperatures of the heat pump.

Is there a magnetite filter in the module?
Yes, the module includes an integrated magnetite separator and dirt filter to protect the heat pump and the entire heating circuit.

Note on technical specifications

The stated technical parameters are based on publicly available documentation from the manufacturer Vaillant (vaillant.sk and related regional pages of the Vaillant Group) and technical data sheets of comparable/adjacent models within the same product range. For binding heating system design, we recommend verifying the current technical data sheet and installation manual for the specific product code directly with the manufacturer or with a certified Vaillant installation partner.

Very distinctive brand profile

Since 1899, the motif has adorned all products, catalogs and brochures. In a few short years, Vaillant built an excellent reputation that spread throughout Germany and even beyond its borders.
