Installation and project notes
The stationary module is installed in a technical room independently of the external unit (it is connected only by piping with heating water, not with refrigerant, since it is a monoblock system). It requires a flat load-bearing base, a supply of cold water, electricity and heating/WHC piping. Connection and setting are carried out by a certified Vaillant technician.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the QW module and the IS module for split units?
The QW module is intended for monoblock external units (the refrigerant does not leave the external body), so only piping with heating water runs between the QW module and the external unit, not refrigerant piping as with the IS module for split systems.
What is the size of the integrated TÚV tank?
The tank has a volume of 190 l with a large-surface heat exchanger (approx. 1.9 m²) for rapid heating of hot water even at lower output temperatures of the heat pump.
Is there a magnetite filter in the module?
Yes, the module includes an integrated magnetite and dirt separator for the protection of the heat pump and the entire heating circuit.
Note on technical data
The stated technical parameters are based on publicly available documentation from the manufacturer Vaillant (vaillant.sk and related regional pages of the Vaillant Group) and technical data sheets of comparable/adjacent models within the same product series. For binding design of the heating system, we recommend to verify the current technical data sheet and installation manual for the specific product code directly with the manufacturer or with a certified Vaillant installation partner.
