The production plant Protherm Production with its headquarters in Skalice specializes in the production of electric and floor-standing boilers for all brands belonging to the Vaillant Group. It can also boast its own research and development center, which is among the most modern in Europe. The second production plant in Slovakia is Vaillant Industrial Slovakia in Trenčianske Stankovce, which produces modules for wall-hung boilers for the entire group.

The history of the company Vaillant goes back to the year 1874, when it was founded by Johann Vaillant in Remscheid, Germany. Since then, the company Vaillant has been a leader in the field of heating and ventilation technologies.
