Ventilation unit with heat recovery SMARTY 2X V – wall-mounted, DN 125, 182 m³/h – SPECIAL OFFER

Product detailed description

What it is used for

SMARTY 2X V (code IVU200V) is a central ventilation unit with heat recovery for apartments, family and passive houses. It extracts stale air and excess moisture and replaces it with fresh outdoor air, which is preheated in the heat exchanger by the heat of the exhaust air – the house is ventilated without opening windows and with minimal heat loss.

The unit is mounted on a wall; the compact cabinet of model 2X V fits even into a kitchen line. The version with an enthalpic heat exchanger has code IVU200VE (SMARTY 2X VE).

Construction and equipment

• plastic counterflow plate heat exchanger with a thermal efficiency of 88.8 % (data according to EU Regulation 1254/2014), energy efficiency class A+ for a moderate climate
• EC fans with variable speed control – power consumption at maximum flow 83 W, reference specific power index SPI 0.3 W/(m³/h), sound power level 52 dB(A)
• summer bypass with a servomotor for 100 % bypass of the heat exchanger and night cooling
• Coarse 65 % (G4) filters on the intake and exhaust, size 270 × 187 × 25 mm (exhaust) and 270 × 121 × 25 mm (intake); for outdoor air, it is possible to use ePM1 70 % (F7) filter
• enclosure made of galvanized steel with powder coating in white color RAL 9016 (corrosion resistance C3), thermal and acoustic insulation from EPP of thickness 30 mm, tightness class A1
• built-in electric preheater 0.6 kW

Control and accessories

The integrated control board miniMCB measures the temperature of the outdoor, supplied and extracted air and controls the fans, bypass and external components (preheater, reheater, air regulators). It offers three manual modes, intensive ventilation (boost), a timer program, night cooling, mode for fireplaces and intelligent anti-frost protection; it is possible to connect CO2 sensor (IVAR.CO2) or humidity sensor.

The controller is not part of the unit – wall controller (IVAR.TCP, IVAR.ST-SA, IVAR.STOUCH) or interface IVAR.MB-GATEWAY must be ordered separately, which allows control from PC and via the IVAR.SMARTYAIR app on a smartphone or tablet. As an addition, electric reheater IVAR.EKA NI (1.2 kW) is offered, which requires control GRGT034. For connecting ISO pipe DN 125, sealing kit ZIZG0005SET is used.

Installation

The dimensions of the unit (width × depth × height) are 595 × 315 × 698 mm, weight 25 kg. It is powered from a single-phase network 230 V / 50 Hz, total power / consumption is 0.74 kW / 3.62 A. The unit operates inside the building at ambient temperature 5 to 40 °C and ambient humidity up to 70 %; without anti-frost protection, it can process outdoor air from -15 °C. Anti-frost protection works with flow imbalance and can create negative pressure in the house – for devices that take air from the room (fireplace, boiler), the manufacturer recommends turning it off and using preheater. It is not installed into living rooms without additional noise insulation and is not intended for pools or saunas. Installation, electrical connection and maintenance must be performed only by a qualified technician and the unit must be grounded.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the delivery and what needs to be ordered separately?
You will receive a bracket and key, as well as cover plugs and an outlet pipe G3/8 together with the unit. Controller (IVAR.TCP, IVAR.ST-SA, IVAR.STOUCH or interface IVAR.MB-GATEWAY) and ventilation ducts must be ordered separately.

Where should the unit not be installed?
Only into living rooms with additional noise insulation and never into pools, saunas or similar spaces. The unit is intended for interior use with ambient temperature 5 to 40 °C and humidity up to 70 %.

How often are the filters changed?
The manufacturer recommends changing them every 3 to 4 months or sooner according to the warning on the controller. Coarse 65 % (G4) filters with dimensions 270 × 187 × 25 mm (exhaust) and 270 × 121 × 25 mm (intake) are used, for outdoor air also ePM1 70 % (F7); the unit must not be operated without filters.

Does the unit have its own preheater?
Yes, SMARTY 2X V has a built-in electric preheater 0.6 kW and without anti-frost protection it operates at outdoor air from -15 °C. It is possible to add IVAR.EKA NI for reheating the supplied air with control GRGT034.
