PNI SafeHome PT10 is a small smart relay that can switch the power supply of an electrical appliance on or off at the request of the app. It is suitable for lights, small appliances or devices that you want to turn on according to the time, but you do not need an expensive control system for that.
It connects to the home network via Wi-Fi in the 2.4 GHz band (standard 802.11 b/g/n). You control it with the PNI Smart or Tuya Smart app: turn on, turn off, schedule times and connect to other devices supported by the app. The relay switches a load of 230 V AC with a current of up to 10 A, i.e. up to 2400 W.
The plastic cover made of ABS has dimensions of 88 × 39 × 23 mm, so it fits into installation boxes and small distribution boxes. The operating temperature is from -26 to +80 °C and the humidity can be 10–95 %. Use it outdoors only in a suitable enclosed box.
Usage
- switching on lighting, for example exterior lighting, at scheduled times;
- controlling kitchen or entertainment devices;
- automations with other devices compatible with the app.
Installation
The relay is connected between the power supply and the appliance, so it should be connected by a person with electrical qualifications. Then it is enough to download the app and follow the instructions to add the device to the home network.
