Industrial stainless steel flow/return manifold set IVAR.CS 658 with regulating valves 2" × 3/4", 5-way
Code: 510485Product detailed description
The IVAR.CS 658 2" × 3/4" 5-way set combines a stainless steel flow manifold and return manifold of nominal size DN 50 into a single mounting unit. It is suited to heating and cooling systems and to industrial pipe networks where a large water flow has to be split into 5 branches. The outlets are fitted with thermostatic valves and regulating lockshield fittings, so each branch can be adjusted or isolated independently.
Design and connections
- bodies made of AISI 316L stainless steel, valves of CW617N brass, EPDM seals
- side inlets with 2" and 1" female thread, 5 outlets with 3/4" female thread on each body
- outlet centre distance 100 mm, body length 500 mm, overall length 545 mm
- distance between the flow and return manifold selectable during installation
- flow and return are colour-coded (IN red, OUT blue)
- threads to ISO 228/1
Operating values
- pressure up to 10 bar, temperature up to +120 °C
- medium: water or water-glycol mixture with max. 30% glycol
- flow through the DN 50 body: 8200 l/h at 1.0 m/s, 9800 l/h at 1.2 m/s, 12300 l/h at 1.5 m/s
- flow through one outlet with thermostatic valve: 700, 850 and 1000 l/h at the same velocities
Scope of delivery
Flow manifold body and return manifold body, regulating and shut-off valves, 2 end pieces with manual air vent and rotatable drain valve, and mounting brackets. The set is supplied disassembled and is completed on site.
Note: installation, pressure tightness test and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person. Flush the system before start-up; the manufacturer recommends treating the water with GEL.LONG LIFE 100 or MAYLINE SBA.
The IVAR.CS 658 range is made in sizes 6/4" × 3/4" (DN 40) and 2" × 3/4" (DN 50) with 2 to 12 outlets.

Frequently asked questions
What systems is the IVAR.CS 658 2" × 3/4" 5-way set intended for?
For heating and cooling systems and for industrial pipe networks that require high flow rates. The medium is water or a water-glycol mixture with a glycol concentration of no more than 30%.
What is included in the delivery?
A flow manifold body and a return manifold body with 5 outlets each, regulating and shut-off valves, 2 end pieces with manual air vent and rotatable drain valve, and mounting brackets. The parts arrive disassembled and are put together during installation.
What flow rate can the set handle?
The DN 50 body is sized for 8200 l/h at 1.0 m/s, 9800 l/h at 1.2 m/s and 12300 l/h at 1.5 m/s. One outlet with a thermostatic valve passes 700, 850 or 1000 l/h at the same velocities.
How is the set filled and vented after installation?
After the joints have been tightened, a pressure tightness test is carried out. Then the filling hose is connected to the fill/drain valve and the manual air vent is opened – once no more air escapes, filling is complete.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
