Manifold with automatic pressure balancing
The IVAR.GBC 01 SET combines the IVAR.CI 589 CVP stainless steel flow/return manifold (503204C) with 4 outlets and the EQUIFLUID balancing unit (550170) in one assembly. The differential pressure regulator mounts directly on the manifold and uses a diaphragm and spring to respond to pressure fluctuations in the heating system. The circuits therefore receive a flow rate close to the design value even when thermostatic valves, zone actuators or other circuits change their demand.
What the set includes
- stainless steel flow manifold with 0–2.5 l/min flow meters (regulation, shut-off and locking of the setting)
- stainless steel return manifold with shut-off valves and manual caps, ready for electrothermal actuators (M 30 × 1.5)
- EQUIFLUID unit: main valve on the return, partner valve on the flow, 1.5 m capillary, thermometer, automatic air vent and fill/drain valve
- mounting brackets and plug
Setting and installation
The required differential pressure is set on the main valve's control head between 50 and 300 mbar; the partner valve limits the maximum flow rate (static balancing). The main valve must sit on the return and remain accessible, and the flow direction marked on the body must be observed. Flush the system thoroughly before commissioning. The set fits an IVAR.P-KLASIK (flush-mounted) or IVAR.N-KLASIK (surface-mounted) cabinet of size 3. Thermal insulation for the EQUIFLUID unit (506184, type AGBC 11) is available separately.

Which pipe does the EQUIFLUID main valve go on?
The main valve is installed on the return and the partner valve on the flow; they are connected by a 1.5 m capillary. The main valve must stay accessible for setting and measuring.
How is the required differential pressure set?
First the flow rate is set with the partner valve, then the pressure difference between the partner and main valve is measured. The main valve's control head is set to this measured value within the 50–300 mbar range.
Which installation cabinet does the set fit?
For the 4-circuit set the manufacturer specifies cabinet size 3: flush-mounted IVAR.P-KLASIK 3 or surface-mounted IVAR.N-KLASIK 3. The cabinet is not included.
Is thermal insulation included?
No. Insulation for the EQUIFLUID unit can be ordered separately under code 506184 (type AGBC 11).
