Installing underfloor heating takes many small items besides pipes and system panels: gridded separation films, metallised tape for joining them, fixing rails and bend supports for PEX pipes from 16 to 25 mm. Perimeter edge strips and self-adhesive expansion joint profiles are also included, separating the screed from the walls and dividing larger areas.

Fixing bends and clips are mainly used when changing pipe direction outside the grid of the system board (e.g. when connecting to a manifold) and when routing pipe away from the board - along a wall or within the floor structure without a system board.
