This category contains original Vaillant duct parts and installation accessories designed for the air ducting of the recoVAIR VAR 60/4, 150/4, 260/4 and 360/4 ventilation units with heat recovery. Here you will find lightweight and thermally insulating EPP ducting in various lengths, fittings (90° bends, couplers, T-pieces), facade and design grilles for air intake and exhaust, connection adapters to manifolds/collectors, silencers and universal duct mounting brackets.
All parts are manufactured or certified directly by Vaillant so as to guarantee the tightness of the joints, the correct air flow and maximum heat recovery efficiency in a mechanical ventilation system. We recommend combining exclusively original Vaillant parts so that the warranty and the declared efficiency of the heat recovery unit are maintained.
Frequently asked questions
- Is EPP ducting compatible with all recoVAIR units? The 210/180 mm diameter is intended for the more powerful units (e.g. recoVAIR VAR 260/360); reduced diameters are used for smaller units - check compatibility according to the technical data sheet of the specific unit.
- Why is EPP (expanded polypropylene) used? EPP has low thermal conductivity (no additional insulation is needed), it is light, rigid and resistant to moisture, which makes it an ideal material for air handling ducting in heat recovery systems.
- Can the ducting be cut to size? Yes, EPP ducting can be cut to the required length with an ordinary saw directly on site.
- What is the purpose of a silencer in the ducting? It reduces the transmission of noise from the fan of the heat recovery unit into the living rooms through the duct run.
