The valve is screwed into the highest point of the radiator, collector or distributor, where air naturally accumulates, and from then on it continuously and automatically vents it from the system - thus eliminating the need for regular manual air venting with a key throughout the entire house. A built-in check valve also prevents water from leaking out of the valve once the air has been vented.
