Automatic air vent with magnet and filter screen IVAR.NEOVENT LUF – 1" F, universal
Code: 502347Product detailed description
Deaeration and filtration in one body
IVAR.NEOVENT LUF is designed for closed hydraulic circuits of heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The star separator inside swirls the flowing water, so even microbubbles are released from it. These gradually merge, rise to the top and leave through the automatic valve NEOVENT M; in case of need, it can also be manually deaerated. Water without air flows through the system more quietly and the risk of corrosion and mechanical damage to components decreases.
Version 1" F
- connection 1" with internal thread on swivel brass T-piece
- flow coefficient Kv 10.3 m³/h, maximum flow 1800 l/h
- replaceable filter insert with a mesh of 800 µm porosity
- magnet with induction 12 000 Gauss and integrated drain valve for sludge removal
- max. operating pressure 10 bar, temperature 0 to +110 °C
- medium: water or water-glycol mixture up to 50 %
- materials: brass CB753S and CW617N, sealing EPDM, stainless steel AISI 304
Installation and maintenance
The deaerator body must always be vertical, but the T-piece can be rotated 360°, so it can be connected to horizontal, vertical and angled piping. The manufacturer recommends installation behind the heat source on the pump suction side, where the most microbubbles are formed, and to follow the flow direction according to the arrow. The first thorough cleaning, including the mesh, is carried out one month after commissioning and then at least once every six months. During the heating season, it is sufficient to remove the magnet and briefly open the drain valve every three months.
The same range also includes versions IVAR.NEOVENT LUM 1" M (502346), IVAR.NEOVENT LUM 5/4" M (502348), IVAR.NEOVENT LUF 5/4" F (502349).

Frequently asked questions
In which position is the IVAR.NEOVENT LUF installed?
The deaerator body must always remain vertical. However, thanks to the swivel T-piece, it can be connected to horizontal, vertical and angled piping, just the flow direction according to the arrow must be followed.
Where is the best place to install the deaerator?
The manufacturer recommends installation behind the heat source on the pump suction side, where the most microbubbles are formed. It is practical to install ball valves before and after the device, which are closed during maintenance.
How often should the valve be cleaned?
The first complete cleaning with the mesh is carried out one month after installation and then at least once every six months. During the heating season, it is advisable to remove the magnet and briefly open the drain valve every three months.
Is it suitable for a circuit with antifreeze mixture?
Yes, the valve is designed for water and for a water-glycol mixture up to a concentration of 50 %. It can be used in heating as well as in cooling.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
