Automatic self-cleaning filter GEL.DEPURA AUTOMATIC – 6/4" F / 2" M, left inlet
Code: 101.007.10LProduct detailed description
GEL.DEPURA AUTOMATIC with code 101.007.10L captures sand, rust and other mechanical impurities from the water and cleans itself automatically. A timer switch turns the motor on at set intervals, rotating brushes clean the stainless steel filter insert, and water flowing through the open drain valve flushes the collected impurities into the drain. The letter L at the end of the code means that water enters the filter from the left; the mirrored version with an inlet on the right has code 101.007.10P.
Setting up the cleaning
The backwash interval is set on the display using buttons in the range of 1 to 30 days (factory setting: 4 days), and the backwash duration from 10 to 90 seconds (factory setting: 20 s). The manufacturer recommends a backwash every 4 days, and daily if the water contains silt or clay. An immediate backwash can also be started manually using the button.
Technical data
- connection 6/4" internal thread – 2" external thread
- max. operating flow 7 m³/h, max. pressure 10 bar
- water temperature 5–40 °C, ambient temperature 5–50 °C
- dimensions: height 480 mm, diameter 160 mm, three-part construction
- container made of SAN, head made of polypropylene and brass
- washable stainless steel insert with porosity 95 µm is part of the filter

Installation
The filter is installed directly after the water meter together with a bypass; if there is an expansion tank in the system, always after it. A check valve is recommended to be installed after the water meter. The pressure in the system should be 2–10 bar, and if the pressure is higher, a pressure reducing valve must be installed before the filter. A 230 V socket must be within the cable reach, and a drain with a diameter of at least 40 mm must be available (the technical sheet specifies a connection to a sewer DN 50 or larger). The wiring, setting of the timer and training of the user must be carried out by a qualified electrician. A mounting key 125.210.50 is used for disassembling the container.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
