    Frequently asked questions

    • What is the difference between a corrosion inhibitor and a cleaning product? An inhibitor is dosed continuously and protects the system from corrosion during operation, while a cleaning product is used once to remove existing deposits and impurities before the inhibitor is added.
    • When should an antifreeze mixture be used for heating and solar systems? In unheated buildings, solar circuits, or anywhere the heat-transfer fluid could freeze outside the heating season.
    • What is regeneration salt used for in softeners? It regenerates the ion-exchange resin in the softener, which removes calcium and magnesium (hardness) from the water.
