Cabinet filter IVAR.ANTRACITE for iron, manganese removal and water softening – 37 l media, Clack CI valve – SPECIAL OFFER
Code: ESFK1235CABMIXProduct detailed description
IVAR.ANTRACITE is a high-flow cabinet filter designed for the treatment of demanding water in the household. The ion exchange medium ECOMIX A with a volume of 37 l reduces water hardness as well as the content of iron, manganese, organic and ammonium compounds. The filter is manufactured in Belgium, the control valve Clack CI comes from the USA, and the modern compact cabinet fits into any interior.
What it consists of
- pre-set control valve Clack CI
- pressure tank with medium
- brine tank with a safety float valve, salt storage up to 130 kg
- cover cabinet with dimensions 360 × 565 × 1095 mm
The package also includes a connection kit and an adapter for connecting to the network. The bypass CLACK can be added as optional equipment.
Operation
Thanks to low salt consumption (3.7 – 6.0 kg per regeneration) and a large storage tank, the filter can last up to 7 months without adding salt. Regeneration takes 80 – 110 minutes, and at an input hardness of 250 mg/l CaCO3, the capacity is 4.5 m³ of treated water. The operating flow rate is 1.4 / 1.8 m³/h, the pressure loss during operation is 0.5 bar, and the power consumption is 30 W at 230 V, 50 Hz.
Requirements for the input water
- hardness up to 750 mg/l CaCO3, iron up to 15 mg/l, manganese up to 3 mg/l
- chemical oxygen demand up to 20 mg/l O2, ammonium ions up to 4 mg/l
- water temperature +4 to +30 °C, mechanical pre-filter of 100 µm upstream of the filter
Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified person. The filter and the brine tank are connected to the sewerage system. Granulated regeneration salt is poured into the tank (recommended code 410.600.44CS).

Frequently asked questions
How often is salt needed to be added?
The tank can hold up to 130 kg of salt and, with a consumption of 3.7 – 6.0 kg per regeneration, the operation can last up to 7 months. Granulated regeneration salt is used.
What kind of water can the filter handle?
The input water can have a hardness of up to 750 mg/l CaCO3, iron up to 15 mg/l, manganese up to 3 mg/l and ammonium ions up to 4 mg/l at a temperature of +4 to +30 °C. A mechanical pre-filter of 100 µm should be installed before the filter.
What is included in the package?
The softener body with a pressure tank, medium and Clack CI valve, connection kit and adapter for connecting to the network. The CLACK bypass can be added as optional equipment.
What maintenance does the filter require?
Refill salt after consumption, check the pressure and water quality twice a year and clean the salt tank once a year. Annual service maintenance is recommended.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
