The filter IVAR.DEFEMN 060 CR1 (code IVA.106.DFCR1) is designed for the treatment of drinking and process water. The Crystal Right media captures iron, manganese, and ammonium ions while simultaneously reducing total hardness – the water is thus simultaneously de-ironed, de-manganized, and softened. The programmable electronic unit WSCI controls regeneration based on time or flow volume and allows setting the water hardness at the output. It includes a mixing bypass tank with a brine line for salt.

Media maintenance

To maintain the media's exchange capacity, it must be regenerated and cleaned at least once a year with a sodium carbonate (soda ash) solution. To neutralize the carbon dioxide gradually absorbed by the media during operation, use the cleaning agent CR CLEAR (code 1003015005, 5 l canister) at a dose of 0.1 l per liter of media.

Installation and commissioning

• connection to a sewerage system with sufficient capacity and a 230 V socket within reach of the cable is required
• for regular backwash, at least 3 bar pressure at a flow rate of 3.6 m³/h for 20 to 30 minutes must be available
