The DAB KVC 85-120 T (code 60179865) is a vertical multistage centrifugal pump of unconventional and sturdy construction. It is suitable for water distribution and supply in small and medium-sized buildings, for building automatic pressure boosting sets, filling tanks, agricultural irrigation, washing and fire-fighting systems and for transferring cooling water.

Design

• technopolymer base body with G 1 1/4" suction and delivery ports with metal threaded inserts, aligned (in-line) and with a drain
• seven stages – impellers, diffusers and diffuser casings in technopolymer
• pump jacket, suction rings and seal wall in stainless steel AISI 304
• stainless steel AISI 303 shaft with carbon/ceramic seal, all parts made of corrosion-resistant materials

Motor and performance

The two-pole enclosed asynchronous motor with external fan cooling has a rated output P2 of 3 kW (4 HP), a maximum power input P1 of 4.3 kW and a rated current of 13.5 A at 3 × 230 V or 7.8 A at 3 × 400 V. The rotor runs in grease-for-life ball bearings that reduce noise. Protection IP55, insulation class F. At 2800 rpm and zero flow the pump reaches 112.7 m, at 6 m³/h 89.9 m and at 12 m³/h 34 m. It weighs 26.5 kg.

Operating conditions

Clean water without solids or mineral oils, non-viscous, non-crystallising and chemically neutral. Liquid temperature 0 to +35 °C for domestic use (EN 60335-2-41) and 0 to +40 °C for other uses, ambient temperature up to +40 °C, maximum operating pressure 12 bar. The pump is installed in a fixed vertical position. The three-phase motor must be protected against short circuit and overload; leave the connection to a professional.
