The IVAR.RHINOCOMFORT 3 (code IVAP19997) combines heat recovery ventilation with sanitisation of the supply air. The unit continuously exchanges the room air without opening windows, the regenerative ceramic exchanger returns up to 90 % of the extract air heat and the ISO Coarse filter traps dirt. It is intended for spaces up to 55 m².
Air sanitisation
High-power UV-C and UV-A LEDs combined with an ozone-free photocatalytic process break down harmful substances in the incoming outdoor air. Once the sanitisation function is activated in the app, the unit can, according to the manufacturer, remove up to 99.6 % of viruses and bacteria and reduce the concentration of PM2.5, PM10 and volatile organic compounds (VOC).

Control and installation
Sensors for temperature, humidity, air quality (eCO2) and light control the automatic mode; manually, speeds V1–V3, night mode, temporary supply or extract for 60 minutes and alternating flow are available. The Intelliclima+ app offers weekly programming and FREE-COOLING in summer. The unit is installed in an external wall with a telescopic duct or in ducting up to 3 m (2.5 m with one bend). Installation must be carried out by a qualified person.

How does the RHINOCOMFORT 3 differ from the ECOCOMFORT 3?
Its ventilation data are the same, but it additionally has a supply air sanitisation system with UV-C and UV-A LEDs and photocatalysis. Sanitisation is switched on and off in the app.
Is ozone produced during disinfection?
No, according to the manufacturer the photocatalytic process produces no ozone. It breaks down harmful substances in the supply air into harmless ones.
What accessories are available for the unit?
The IVAP1984 ISO Coarse replacement filter, the IVAP1985 insulation panel, the IVAP1613 rain cover for the grille and the IVAP19881 external noise reduction kit.
