IVAR.TER-SELT DN 50 with output signal (code 10.01.11.1020) combines the two-way ball valve BVQ from manufacturer SELTRON with the built-on actuator AQD. This version of the actuator has two-point ON/OFF control as well as an auxiliary switch AUX, so in addition to closing the circuit, it provides an output signal for further regulation components.

Valve BVQ DN 50

The body has internal threads Rp 2" on both sides, a construction length of 124.3 mm and a flow coefficient Kvs of 265 m³/h. The stem is protected against withdrawal and sealed with three O-rings. The working fluid can have a temperature of 10 to 90 °C.

Actuator AQD

• 230 V~, torque 8 Nm, rotation by 90° in 13 s
• wiring: terminals 1 (N), 2 (L), 3 (OPEN), terminals 4 and 5 – auxiliary switch AUX with load capacity 2(1) A / 230 V AC
• power consumption 5 W, less than 0.25 W in standby
• manual mode via a button – the motor is disconnected and the valve is adjusted using a rotating controller, the position is marked on the actuator
• the opening direction can be reversed by a jumper under the rotating controller
• mounting on the valve without tools, a locking device prevents unintentional release
• protection class IP42, protection class II according to EN 60730-1, cable 1 m

The actuator has passed 100,000 cycle testing and does not get damaged in case of valve blockage. It operates at ambient temperatures of 0 to +55 °C and humidity up to 85 % without condensation; if flooding is possible, it is mounted above the expected water level. Installation and electrical wiring must be carried out only by a qualified person.

What is the difference between this valve and the version without an output signal?
The actuator AQD in this version has an additional auxiliary switch AUX on terminals 4 and 5 with a load capacity of 2(1) A at 230 V AC. The valve, torque and switching time of 13 s are the same.

Can the valve be adjusted manually?
Yes. After pressing the manual mode button, the motor is disconnected and the valve can be set to any position using the rotating controller; pressing again returns it to automatic operation.

Can the valve opening direction be changed?
Yes. After removing the rotating controller, the jumper is pulled out, rotated to the opposite position and pushed back in, without further tools.
