Chimneys and flues

Flues for gas and condensing boilers from all manufacturers.

Dear customer, we realise that designing a complete flue from the hundreds of different components offered by each manufacturer can sometimes be complicated. The simplest way is therefore to describe in your own words, in the note when placing your order, what kind of flue you are interested in.

When we confirm your boiler order, we will tell you the price of the flue straight away.

An example of where and how to describe the flue you need:

Hello, could you put together a chimney for a Protherm Panther 25 KOO that would go straight up through the roof? The length should be 2 m.

Hello. As far as I can see, we do not even have flues for conventional non-condensing gas boilers in our range. Have a nice day.

Hello, I need an elbow and 50 cm of pipe for the flue of a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W boiler. Can you advise which items I should order? I also need a gas hose for connecting the boiler, valves for the water, a valve for the heating flow and return, plus fittings for connecting to 26 mm multilayer (Al-plastic) pipe – screw type, not press. Thank you.

Hello. I need advice and a flue design for a JUNKERS miniMAX WRD 14-2 G gas instantaneous water heater. I previously had a Mora heater and the flue was a stainless steel pipe through the wall and up above roof level. Now that the new Junkers heater is connected, this flue is not suitable.

Hello, I would like to ask about a chimney for a gas water heater. The heater is in the cellar and the chimney is a 100mm diameter stainless steel pipe led out through the wall. The trouble is that the heater cuts out about once a week; a friend told me it is because of a build-up of flue gases and that the chimney should also have some kind of air intake or a small draught hood just above the heater. Can you give me any advice on this?

Hello. Yes, that could be the cause too – the chimney not having enough draught. But I really cannot advise you from behind a computer like this.

We would like to put a stove in the kitchen, where there was a solid fuel cooker 60 years ago. We would like to bring it back and do not know whether it can be done. The chimney runs through the kitchen, so everything is there; we just do not know whether we could use that chimney.

If you were fitting a new condensing boiler, you would simply put a plastic flue with a diameter of 60 mm into the old chimney. I think that would probably be the simplest solution. Have a nice day.

Hello. I need some advice on a flue. It is for a Protherm Tiger Condens condensing boiler, which will be located next to an old masonry chimney, and the new flue from this boiler will run inside it (length about 5-6 m). I just do not know which flue size to use, 80/125 or 60/100. Thank you for your reply.

Hello, I need some advice on a flue for a Viessmann Vitodens 111 condensing boiler. The boiler is in a ventilated room and I want to run the flue in the empty shaft of a twin chimney... chimney height approx. 3 m. Thank you.

Hello, if the room is ventilated, an 80mm flue is sufficient - https://www.atria.sk/vykurovacia-technika/kondenzacne-kotly/odtahy-spalin-dymovody/klasicky-dymovod-80mm/ plus a Viessmann reducer - https://www.atria.sk/redukcia-60-80/ Have a nice day.

Hello. I have a Buderus Logamax plus GB072-14 condensing boiler and I need a plastic flue with a diameter of 120mm, i.e. 2 elbows and 2 m of pipe including the terminal. The flue from the boiler will run out through the wall, not through the roof. Could you please send me a quotation? Thank you. Kind regards,

Hello, flues for condensing boilers can be found here: https://www.atria.sk/vykurovacia-technika/kondenzacne-kotly/odtahy-spalin-dymovody/koncentricky-dymovod-80-125mm/. In that category you will find all the extensions and the elbow, but the diameter is 80/125mm. I am not sure, though, whether you meant a concentric flue or a single-wall flue, because an 80 mm flue is also sufficient for the GB 072: https://www.atria.sk/vykurovacia-technika/kondenzacne-kotly/odtahy-spalin-dymovody/klasicky-dymovod-80mm/. Have a nice day.

Hello, I would like to order a flue for a condensing boiler from you. The flue height will be 4m, and that already includes the terminal above the roof. Please put the order together for me / the flue will probably consist of two 2m lengths plus a flue cowl; as for the roof penetration, I will have flashing fitted there/. Thank you, kind regards

Hello, you can use this complete 80/125 mm flue kit: https://www.atria.sk/zvisly-odtah-spalin-azb-919/, but it does not include the roof penetration. There is a separate roof flashing for that: https://www.atria.sk/stresna-priruba-azb-925/. If the boiler can draw air from the boiler room, a simple flue with a diameter of 80 mm will also do, https://www.atria.sk/vykurovacia-technika/kondenzacne-kotly/odtahy-spalin-dymovody/klasicky-dymovod-80mm/, and it is then easy to put together.

Hello, if you have a condensing boiler installed, you must always use a plastic flue. You can also insert this flue into an old chimney. There are chimneys designed for condensing boilers as well, but using plastic always works out cheaper. Have a nice day.

Hello. I need a flue for a Protherm Gepard 23 MTV fan-assisted boiler; the flue should run vertically only (straight up). The manufacturer states that 60/100 can be used up to a length of 4,5 metres. My height should be 4,6 metres. I would also need a short condensate trap section because of the warranty, and something to terminate the flue.

Hello, we bought an Immergas Victrix Zeus 26 condensing boiler from you. Is it possible to order flue parts from you, specifically a 60/100 concentric 90° elbow with flange - 3.012003 and a 60/100 concentric through-the-wall extension with cover plates, 1 m long? If so, what would the price be? Thank you.

Hello, please, with a Protherm Tiger 24KTZ boiler in an older block of flats, is it possible to run the flue into the original brick chimney? Could this fan-assisted boiler, for example, draw air from outside through the wall or from the room and discharge the flue gases into the old chimney? The thing is that the old brick chimney looks very crooked from above and I do not know whether a flue up to 10cm in diameter and 6-7 metres long could be fitted in there, and whether an aluminium liner would be enough. Thank you.

Good day. I have a question: I have a chimney lined with an aluminium pipe 100 mm in diameter, to which an ordinary floor-standing gas boiler is connected, and I would like to replace it with a wall-hung condensing boiler. Can it be connected like this? Thank you.

Hello, a condensing boiler needs a plastic flue, so you can use the existing chimney as well. A pipe with a diameter of 60 mm is also available; the conventional boiler must of course be decommissioned. Have a nice day.

Hello, you should not use an old flue from a conventional boiler for a condensing boiler; plastic flues with seals are used, because condensate runs down them. Have a nice day.
