      Good afternoon. I would like some information and advice, please. We have a PROTHERM tiger 24 KOV gas boiler and I would like to control it according to the outdoor temperature. Would that be possible? What would you advise? Thank you in advance for your reply.

      Good afternoon, it could be done by buying a Thermolink P and a sensor to go with it, but I do not know whether it will work specifically with the PROTHERM tiger 24 KOV boiler. You would have to check that. Have a nice day.

      Good afternoon. I bought a Protherm Raja 9kW boiler + Thermolink P thermostat from you. Please send me instructions on how to connect the thermostat to a power supply, as this is not stated in the manual, probably so that only a service engineer can install it. The thermostat has a 5-pin terminal block, of which the first two are intended for controlling the boiler (make/break), run by a 2-core cable to terminal block K8 (terminals 1 and 2) of the boiler. Please advise me how to get the thermostat working. There are 3 more free terminals on the terminal block in the thermostat, probably for the power supply, which according to the label on the back of the thermostat is 9..24V 17 mA. So is a transformer needed? If so, which one and with what voltage, given that 9-24V is stated? And do you have such a transformer on offer? Thank you in advance for your reply, Mr Dian.

      Good afternoon. I found the SALUS EUROTEMP 2016+ and 2026 programmable room thermostats on your website. I am interested, but I would still like to know: 1/ what is the difference between these thermostats? 2/ can the temperature also be changed 48x on the 2026? 3/ can I use the SALUS EUROTEMP 2016+ or 2026 thermostat with the Immergas Victrix X 24 boiler? 4/ do I have to use only the Immergas CAR Universal? / I do not need weather compensation / 5/ is weather-compensated control worthwhile?

      Good afternoon, I will jump straight to point 3. As you have an Immergas Victrix X 24 boiler, you cannot use these conventional SALUS thermostats with it. A condensing boiler has a modulating output function, thanks to which it will save you several per cent of your heating costs by smoothly reducing and increasing its output. Without this function it would simply switch on and off, and for that very reason you need a thermostat that supports this function, which is this one https://www.atria.sk/immergas-car-universal/ , or this one https://www.atria.sk/immergas-car-v2/ ; the only difference is that the second is the new version. Weather-compensated control is certainly a good choice, but the sensor must always be positioned correctly, otherwise it will not work properly. Kind regards, Skácel
