The DAB.GRINDER FX 15.15 T-NA (code 60191259) is a submersible sewage pump with a cutting device for pumping wastewater from the drains of residential and commercial buildings. The efficient AISI 630 stainless steel cutting system copes with wastewater containing fibres, paper or textiles and allows connection even to small-diameter delivery pipes. The pump is certified to EN 12050-1.

Design and installation

The pump body, motor housing and impeller are made of cast iron, the motor shaft of stainless steel. The SiC-SiC / SiC-C double mechanical seal runs in an oil chamber with no contact with the pumped liquid and works regardless of the direction of rotation. The outlet is connected with an Rp 1 1/2" thread or a DN 32 PN 10/6 or DN 40 PN 6 flange. The pump is installed permanently with a lifting device or portably, standing on its base directly on the tank bottom. Fully submerged it allows continuous S1 duty, dry running for at most 10 minutes and up to 20 starts per hour. IP68 protection, insulation class F, 10 m H07RN8-F power cable, pump weight 38 kg.

What is the grinder for?
The cutting system shreds fibres, paper and textiles in the wastewater, so the pump can be connected even to a small-diameter delivery pipe.

Does the pump work automatically?
Not on its own – the T-NA version is three-phase and has no float switch. Level-dependent switching and motor protection, including connection of the overheating sensors, must be provided by a control panel and the electrical installation.

How is the pump installed?
