IVAR.ADH 20 (code 501647) is a compact 230 V rotating servomotor with a built-in heating circuit controller regulated according to the outside temperature. It is mounted directly on a mixing valve – according to the manufacturer, on more than 20 types of valves from various manufacturers – and IVAR also offers it as an optional accessory for the mixed boiler modules VARIMIX with a three-way mixing valve. Without an external temperature sensor, it can be operated only with a room thermostat.

Operation and installation
A graphic display with buttons and the "Easy start" wizard guide the first setup in four steps: language, hydraulic diagram, slope of the heating curve and direction of the mixing valve opening. The software is updated and the motor is connected to the computer via the USB port. A button switches to manual control, in which the valve is turned using the rotating element. The controller is mounted in a heated indoor space directly on the valve using the supplied accessories, away from strong electromagnetic fields. It operates at ambient temperatures of +5 to +40 °C and retains the set data for at least 10 years without power. Electrical connections must be made only by a qualified professional.

Can the ADH 20 be used without an external temperature sensor?
Yes, but in that case a room thermostat must be connected. With an external temperature sensor, the controller operates equithermally, i.e. according to the outside temperature.
