How the UV sterilizer works
The polished stainless steel chamber made of AISI 304 contains a UV lamp in a quartz glass sleeve. The low-pressure lamp emits monochromatic UVC radiation with a wavelength of 254 nm, which damages the RNA and DNA of microorganisms, preventing them from multiplying. The radiation dose is higher than 40 mJ/cm².

Model FC-45 allows the connection of a closing solenoid valve.
Maintenance and installation
- clean the quartz tube every 3–6 months with alcohol or a special cleaning agent and replace it after 24 months
- replace the O-ring every 9–12 months
- replace the UV lamp after 10 000 operating hours (approximately 9–12 months)
Install the sterilizer in an easily accessible location where freezing does not occur (min. +5 °C). Installation and electrical connections must be carried out only by a qualified person. UV radiation can damage the skin and eyes and quartz glass is fragile – be careful when handling.
