Three-way switching valve SELTRON BVQ DN 32 Rp 1 1/4" with AQD actuator 230 V, Kvs 25 – IVAR.TER-SELT
Code: 10.01.11.3005Product detailed description
IVAR.TER-SELT DN 32 (code 10.01.11.3005) is a switching assembly consisting of a three-way vertical ball valve BVQ from manufacturer SELTRON and an AQD actuator with two-point ON/OFF control. At the signal from the controller, it redirects water to one of two branches; the valve can also be used for flow distribution.
Typical connections
- switching between heating and hot water heating
- switching between solid fuel boiler and gas or oil boiler
- switching hot water storage to gas or oil boiler
- solar systems – switching between collector fields, between hot water storage and accumulator tank or for pool heating
- switching between heat pump and solar system for hot water heating or between two heat exchangers
Valve and actuator
The DN 32 valve has all three ports with internal thread Rp 1 1/4", a construction length of 92 mm and a flow coefficient Kvs of 25 m³/h; the temperature of the working fluid can be 10 to 90 °C. The AQD actuator at 230 V~ has a torque of 5 Nm, turns the valve by 90° in 13 s and consumes 5 W (less than 0.25 W in standby). It is connected to terminals 1 (N), 2 (L) and 3 (OPEN), has a protection class IP42, protection class II according to EN 60730-1 and a cable length of 1 m.
The actuator is mounted by hand on the valve body without tools and secured by a locking pin. A button switches to manual mode, in which the valve is turned by a rotating handle, and the direction of opening can be reversed by a hidden jumper under the handle. The current position is marked on the actuator cover. Connection and installation belong to the hands of a qualified specialist.

Frequently asked questions
What is the three-way switching valve BVQ used for?
It redirects the flow to one of two branches – typically between heating and hot water heating, between two heat sources or in solar systems. It can also be used for flow distribution.
Does this actuator have an auxiliary switch AUX?
No, this version is controlled two-point ON/OFF via terminals N, L and OPEN. The version with an auxiliary switch AUX has a separate code in the IVAR.TER-SELT range.
Can the valve be switched manually?
Yes. After pressing the manual mode button, the motor is disconnected and the valve is turned by a rotating handle; pressing again returns the actuator to automatic operation.
