IVAR.TER-SELT DN 25 consists of a two-way ball valve SELTRON BVQ with internal thread Rp 1" and the AQD actuator mounted. The assembly is used for on/off zone control and as a shut-off element in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), in cooling and in hot water distribution; it is also suitable for use in industry and agriculture.

AQD Actuator

• supply voltage 230 V~, two-point switching ON/OFF
• torque 5 Nm, rotation by 90° in 13 s
• power consumption 5 W, less than 0.25 W in standby mode
• manual mode button disconnects the motor and the valve is adjusted using a rotating controller; the current position is indicated on the actuator
• the opening direction is changed by a switch hidden under the rotating controller
• the actuator is mounted on the valve by pressing with one hand without tools, a locking mechanism prevents unintentional release
• protection class IP42, protection class II according to EN 60730-1, cable length 1 m, housing made of PC thermoplastic

The actuator has been tested for 100,000 cycles, operates quietly and thanks to its compact design it can be installed even where multiple actuators are placed close to each other. The ambient temperature range is 0 to +55 °C at a humidity up to 85 % without condensation. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out only by a qualified person.
