I have no idea what this thing even does, I just know my heating guy said I need a holder for the pressure thing. Does this come with everything already put together or do I need to buy extra bits to make it work?

This set comes with the steel support beam included, so you get the bracket itself ready to mount - it's painted red and made of steel, one piece per box. It holds your expansion vessel in place and also protects the system if pressure gets too high, plus it lets air out automatically. You'll still need the expansion vessel itself if you don't already have one, but the mounting and safety part is all there in the box.
