Vaillant VAZ CPC/2 is a wired wall control panel with an integrated CO&sub2; sensor and humidity sensor for the recoVAIR VAR 60/2 D system. Mounting of the recoVAIR VAR 60/2 unit consists of a core drilling with a diameter of 162 mm through the perimeter wall, into which the mounting tube is inserted (an insulated plastic tube available in a length of 500 mm, which can be shortened, or combined for thicker walls up to 1 000 mm by connecting two tubes). From the exterior side, the opening is covered with a white external cover with a noise damper type VAZ WD160, which also protects against rainwater and insects and reduces the transmission of external noise into the interior. The unit itself is inserted into the prepared mounting tube from the interior side and connected to the 230 V/50 Hz electrical network.

Units of variant D communicate with each other and with a possible control panel via cable, which is the most reliable solution where it is possible to run a low-voltage cable between the installation points during reconstruction or new construction (e.g., in a partition wall between two rooms or in a suspended ceiling). The cable connection is resistant to interference from other wireless devices in the household and does not require batteries in the communication module.

The operating temperature of the unit ranges from −30 °C to +50 °C, so recoVAIR VAR 60/2 reliably functions even in icy winters in Slovakia and during summer heatwaves.
