Clean water directly in the kitchen
IVAR.SOLO is a small water treatment unit with reverse osmosis designed for installation at the point of use, for example in the kitchen sink. The entire purification is handled by one 2-in-1 cartridge: a reverse osmosis membrane with 500 GPD capacity captures up to 99% of impurities including viruses and bacteria and reduces the content of PFAS, and a coconut carbon block then improves the taste and smell of the water. The treated water flows directly at a flow rate of 1.3 l/min (78 l/h).

Installation and conditions
The delivery includes an installation kit, the connection is threaded 1/2" and 3/8", power supply 230 V / 50 Hz. The inlet water pressure must be 1 to 4 bar – therefore a pressure reducing valve is required before the unit – and the water temperature must be +5 to +30 °C. Do not use water that is microbiologically unsuitable or of unknown quality without sufficient disinfection. A mineralization post-filter IVAR.MFV (ESPD2010ECO) can be added to the outlet to enrich the water with minerals. The replacement RO plus cartridge has the code ESCSVPDRO500 and should be changed every 12 months.

Frequently asked questions
How often should the cartridge in the IVAR.SOLO unit be changed?
The manufacturer recommends replacement every 12 months, sooner in the case of poorer quality inlet water or higher consumption. The replacement RO plus cartridge has the code ESCSVPDRO500, the replacement is dry and takes up to 5 minutes.
Does the unit add minerals to the water?
The unit itself does not, but a mineralization post-filter IVAR.MFV (code ESPD2010ECO) can be added to its outlet to enrich the water with minerals.
Why is it recommended to pour out the first glasses of water in the morning?
Dissolved substances can naturally pass through the membrane during the night, so the water contains slightly more of them in the morning. The manufacturer therefore recommends pouring out the first two glasses or using them for watering flowers.
