Water Softener Filter IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 with Two Pressure Vessels for Continuous Operation – 1" Connection
Code: IVA.807.DV-DUPLEXProduct detailed description
The main advantage of the IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 device is continuous operation: two pressure vessels alternate, so softened water flows even during regeneration and no technological break occurs. The softener is designed for potable water treatment and is also suitable for heating and technical water, meeting the requirements for permanent contact with potable water.
Control
The TWIN version has one programmable electronic control unit and a switching valve that alternates individual pressure vessels. The device includes a brine tank with a brine line and the water hardness at the output can be adjusted.
Data for IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075
- dimensions w × h × d: 922 × 311 × 1419 mm, brine tank Ø 585 × 1040 mm
- inlet/outlet connection 1", waste 3/4" external thread
- operating flow approx. 4.5 m³/h, cyclic capacity 2 × 400 m³·°f
- max. pressure 6 bar, water temperature 5 – 35 °C, ambient temperature 5 – 40 °C
Installation and operation
To smoothly adjust the output hardness, an external bypass valve is installed on the bypass, for example a gate valve or an adjusting ball valve IVAR.TOP BALL. The device requires a flat, load-bearing floor, a drain with sufficient capacity, a 230 V socket and a pressure of at least 3 bar at a minimum flow of 2 m³/h for 20 – 30 minutes. Tablet regeneration salt for water softeners (code 410.600.44CS) is added to the brine tank, its consumption depends on the water hardness. Installation and electrical connection are carried out by a qualified person.

Frequently asked questions
Does the softener supply softened water even during regeneration?
Yes, two pressure vessels alternate, so the device operates non-stop without a technological break for regeneration.
What is the difference between TWIN and DUPLEX versions?
TWIN 030 – 110 has one control unit with a switching valve, DUPLEX 140 – 500 has two control units and an external three-way valve. IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 belongs to the TWIN 030 – 110 series.
How is the output hardness adjusted?
Using an external bypass valve on the bypass, for example a gate valve or an adjusting ball valve IVAR.TOP BALL, which must be added during installation.
How much space does the device need?
The IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 assembly has dimensions of 922 × 311 × 1419 mm and the brine tank Ø 585 × 1040 mm. At least 200 mm must be left above the device and space for connection.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
