Venting and filtration in one body
The IVAR.NEOVENT LUM is designed for closed hydraulic circuits in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The star-shaped separator inside sets the water flowing through it into a swirling motion, so that even microbubbles are released. They gradually merge, rise to the upper part and escape through the NEOVENT M automatic valve; manual venting is also possible when needed. Air-free water flows through the system more quietly and the risk of corrosion and mechanical damage to components is reduced.

Installation and maintenance
The vent body must always be vertical, but the tee rotates through 360°, so it can be connected to horizontal, vertical or inclined pipework. The manufacturer recommends installing it after the heat source on the suction side of the pump, where most microbubbles form, and observing the flow direction shown by the arrow. The first thorough cleaning, including the screen, is carried out one month after commissioning and then at least every six months. During the heating season it is enough to remove the magnet every three months and open the drain valve for a few seconds.

In which position is the IVAR.NEOVENT LUM installed?
The vent body must always remain vertical. Thanks to the swivel tee it can nevertheless be connected to horizontal, vertical and inclined pipes, as long as the flow direction shown by the arrow is observed.
Where is the best place to install the air vent?
