The set contains the GEL.BOY C 15 SUPER descaling pump with a 15 l tank and 10 kg of GEL.BOILER CLEANER L.Z. concentrate. It is used to remove deposits from heating and cooling systems, heat exchangers and pipework: the cleaning solution circulates in the circuit until it has dissolved the deposits.

Why reverse the flow
When the direction changes, the solution attacks the deposits from both sides and breaks up the flakes released during dissolving. Cleaning is faster and copes even with almost completely blocked pipes or exchangers. It removes scale, calcium and silica deposits, iron and manganese oxides, iron bacteria as well as organic deposits and algae.
GEL.BOILER CLEANER L.Z.
Concentrated cleaning liquid with a special zinc inhibitor which, according to the manufacturer, does not attack system materials and does not fume. It is intended for systems with copper, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, tin, light alloys and galvanised surfaces. The product is corrosive, so wear protective gloves and goggles as stated in the safety data sheet.
Working with the pump
Leave the tank lid open during cleaning so that gases can escape. Afterwards pour out the solution and flush the pump with clean water for at least 10 minutes – never leave the solution in the tank. Lift the pump when moving it, do not drag it along the floor.
